Our plaques use a french cleat system. All you need to do is hang a 4-inch metal cleat using two screws and the plaque slides right on. You can watch an installation video here. And yes, you can hang it on brick.

When you add a number to your cart, a questionnaire will appear on your screen asking for relevant information. This is where you provide your address number, your design idea, and glaze preferences.

All-in-all, each plaque requires about ten active hours to produce. This is time sculpting, glazing, kiln labor, and then packaging.
All of this happens over a long time. Production-wise, we need roughly one week to review sketches with you, one week to sculpt it, two weeks for the clay to dry, one week to glaze, two weeks to do the firings, and one week to package. Ceramics is not a fast art—but it’s well worth the wait!
Also, sometimes, pieces crack or break during the firing process. So it is always possible, but not likely, it will take up to 12 weeks to receive your numbers. -
We fire our clay to vitrification, which means water is unable to seep into the ceramic. Our epoxy is rated to withstand temperatures from -30 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
Many of our plaques include delicate sculptural elements, so we do recommend protecting it from hail. It should be find with wind, assuming there is no flying debris.
