Cardinals mean so many things to different people. Growing up, they were the first bird I could identify. My grandmother believes they’re past loved ones stopping by to say hello. For most of the state of Kentucky, they represent a heated sports rivalry.
Undeniably, they’re beautiful and I hoped to capture some of their striking presence in this address number.
Each address plaque is sculpted and painted by hand—we don’t use molds or forms. The digits are 3 inches tall. The plaque pictured is 8 inches by 6.5 inches—this will vary slightly to match the address numbers in each order e.g. a 3-digit house number will have a shorter plaque.
